At Pole Dancing PTBO, we like to start our students with a 90 minute Intro to Pole class. There’s a lot to learn the first time you get on a pole, and this class goes over all the basics: Tricks, spins, grip technique and choreography.
When you complete your Intro to Pole, you get a prerequisite to take all of our ‘Newbie’ level classes.

BTW, our next Intro to Pole class is on Tuesday October 20th at 8pm
If you’re waiting patiently for your Intro to Pole class, or if you’ve completed it and want to bring a friend who has NOT completed it, we offer a few classes that have NO PREREQUISITES
Here are some you’ll find on October’s calendar: Chair Flow, Polerina, Gentle Pole, Conditioning and Burlesque.

Meet Dana and Sharon!

Dana is one of the studio’s OG students and instructors,starting back in 2018, the year we opened! This month Dana is teaching Newbie Acro, tricks lvl 1 and conditioning! Why does she love pole so much? She says it’s increased her confidence, it can be challenging but fun and has made her a part of this beautiful community.

Sharon started pole while she was a Trent student - you might catch her rehearsing at the studio this month for her FIRST EVER pole competition… Be sure to wish her luck. This month Sharon is teaching low flow, pole tricks lvl 2 and 3, and novice exotic. What’s Sharon’s favourite move? Anything involving being upside down, the crowd loves it.

We have some changes on Mindbody to familiarize yourselves with…
We’ve started to assign prerequisite levels for each student for both our dance classes, and separately, our tricks classes.
We’ll also be merging spins+combos with acro, beyond newbie level, and these new merged classes will be called Pole Tricks levels 1-3.
All of your prerequisites have automatically been adjusted in Mindbody, but if you run into any trouble booking, please contact us and we’ll help everyone get adjusted 🙏🏽
