That’s a wrap on the Daines Ranch Pro Rodeo!

From a sold-out crowd to electric energy all weekend long, this year’s rodeo brought no shortage of big moments, and unforgettable memories.

Thank you to everyone who came out, competed, volunteered, and helped make this event one to remember. We already can’t wait to do it all again. See you next year!

At last night's performance at the Daines Ranch Pro Rodeo, 2024 Canadian Professional Rodeo Association Ba****ck Champion Kody Lamb, spent some time with one of our Golden Circle Young Champions.

14 year old Cohen, is from the Red Deer and Sylvan Lake area, loves hockey, baseball, and spending time with family and friends.

Earlier this year, Cohen was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer that has also spread to his lungs.

Since February, Cohen has undergone intensive chemotherapy and major surgery, including the replacement of his tibia with a titanium implant and reconstruction of his knee.

Through it all, Cohen has shown incredible courage and resilience. His family calls him a true warrior—facing each day with strength, positivity, and heart.

As a rodeo community, we are proud to have the chance to support Cohen and his family through their journey.
