Our next session starts with registration on September 9th. This season we are pleased to welcome Bev Barradell to direct us in Dickens' A Christmas Carol - a dramatic reading with an eclectic mix of seasonal music.

We warmly invite new and returning members for what is sure to be a fun and rewarding season. Singers and wannabe singers welcome. No auditions necessary.
We sing a range of traditional and contemporary music, usually in 4 part harmony.
Don’t read music? We will help you.

Rehearsals will take place at the Pender Islands School on Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm, culminating in concerts December 11, 12, and 13.

Join us on September 9th starting 5pm to register and receive your music, followed by intros and a review of the program.

Registration is $75 for the season. We can accept cash, cheque, and card.

If you plan to participate but cannot make it to the first registration session, just send us an email to let us know! If the cost is a barrier to your participation, please reach out to penderchoir(at)gmail.com and we are committed to keeping the choir accessible! 💚

🫶 Our board and the entire choir want to extend a MASSIVE thank you to our Sea to Seas director, Bruce McConchie.

This was a challenging year for the choir's finances, and Bruce stepped up to volunteer his time and expertise so that we could continue to sing this season. We quite truly could not have done it without him!

Cheers to Bruce on a terrific session, we are so grateful, even for the earworms that we are still dealing with! 🎶🍁

Thank you to everyone who attended our Sea to Seas concerts this weekend. We will posting a wrap up soon! In the meantime we have an important call out.

The Pender Island Community Choir is currently accepting submissions for the role of Musical Director for our Fall-Winter 2026 and Spring 2027 sessions.

The Musical Director is a central (paid) role for our choir. They will be responsible for both the creative direction of the season, as well as leading the choir through rehearsals and performance. We are a community choir with members who have been singing for years all the way to first-time singers. Our ideal candidate is a leader who can bring us all together to help us grow musically and put on a great concert - all while having a good time!

We are almost ready to welcome audiences to Sea to Seas: Strong and Free - our concert this Saturday and Sunday!
