The weather is keepoing us on our toes this weekend, but it looks like the rain is going to co-operate for the rest of the day so we can still gather outside for Tony and Stephanie. Tickets available at the door, bring a cozy blanket and a mug, we will have some warm drinks available as well!

We are so excited to have Hannah Epperson playing our first concert this summer at Stoney Pocket. She has played on Pender Island for the Crisp Festival and also the Mosaic Festival since moving to Mayne Island from a life of touring the world. Hannah’s original sound is a mesmerizing blend of violin, bass synthesizer and voice in layers looped to create a rich landscape of contemporary magic. We hope you can join us on July 12th!

We are excited to have our summer concerts all set! Our first show will be with Hannah Epperson, Saturday July 12.
Hannah Epperson has been called a neo-classical composer and musician, indie folk/rocker and avant-garde pop artist. She's performed at jazz and electronica, folk, art, new music and rock festivals.
With violin, loop pedal, voice and innovative rhythmic improvisations with proximate objects, she weaves uncanny connection with her audiences, taking listeners on exhilarating journeys. As a companion in musical experience, she is powerful yet playful and gentle, often exploring the essential cultural and political matters of our age without ever leaving the miracle of the commonplace or us behind. https://www.hannahepperson.ca/
Hannah is now living on Mayne Island after many years of musical collaborations in various places such as New York and Banff. She has performed on Pender Island at The Crisp and at The Mosiac Festival, and we are so excited that she is ready to return to Pender once again!

We are very much looking forward to our last show of the summer with David Essig! What we are not excited about is the forcasted RAIN! So, to take no chances of weather complications, we have moved the concert to the Pender Community Hall where we can be warmer and drier.

Thanks so much to The Group of Seven and Firebird Music for their fantastic music on the lush green garden stage. The cool skies and the damp weather were unexpected, but in retrospect, were so perfectly comfortable. These two ensembles will be performing back to back on the Islands Stage at the Islands Folk Fest in Duncan on July 20!

We are excited for our next summer show with Club Voltaire! Welcoming back to the island Adam Dobres, Oliver Swain, Richard Moody and Paul Dowd. These fabulous musicians are also doing a set of Nick Drake songs. With the summer weather really setting in, we expect a magical warm evening in the blossoming gardens.

We are excited for our first show this Saturday with Firebird Music - Quw’utsun Valley’s newest folk trio Firebird is comprised of Stephanie Cutler, Jeremy Walsh (Scruge McDuhk, Crikey Mor) and Genevieve Charbonneau (Heartwood, Genevieve and the Wild Sundays). The three are accomplished singer-songwriters, taking turns singing leads on original songs and leaning heavily into gorgeous three part harmonies. With guitar, piano, accordion, and bouzouki they meld irish, bluegrass and pop to create a fusion folk that is full of fire and redemption.
