There is still time to register as registration is open until April 10th.

Programs for Kids & Teens via SGINH Epicentre:
Wednesday Teen Nights...with Pizza option!
Facilitated by Joel. 11yrs - 14 yrs
April 3 - June 26, 2024 5:30pm - 8pm in the Community Hall.
$325 plus $5 per night for pizza = $390 for 13 weeks.

Thursday After School Kid’s Club with Karen: Ages 5yrs - 11yrs
April 4- June 27, 2024 3:45pm - 5:15 pm in the Community Hall No programming on Thurs May 2, 2024 (Hall unavailable)
$180 for 12 weeks.

Friday Kids Camp with Karen: Ages 5yrs +
April 12 - June 21, 2024 9am-4pm in the Community Hall No programming on Friday May 24 (school day)
Hands on explorations using the Montessori teaching method.
$665 for 7 hrs/day for 10 weeks.

If you want your child to take the school bus to The Community Hall, ensure you submit your Bus-Stop Change request.

LEARNING WITH KAREN - 9 classes (no class Feb 24th)
Using the Montessori teaching method, the children will get to spend each Friday in a creative and supportive learning environment. The days will consist of hands-on exploration as we strengthen math, language, science, geography and history skills. We will take a multi disciplinary approach by overlapping subjects and often using art, games and hands-on challenges. There will also be time throughout the day to help anyone with homework.

YOUTH SEWING & CRAFT EVENING - with Pizza!! - 11 classes
This is a great opportunity for our older children to take their sewing skills to a more advanced level and have greater access to the sewing machine. Other craft projects will also be made available such as paints, drawing, fimo clay, beading, making of dioramas etc. While the children are being creative, listening to shared music and feeling free to connect with each other a pizza dinner will be provided. It is a great way for our youth to start their weekend while being creative. (Grade 6 and up) $5 per class for pizza.

SEWING CLUB - 11 classes
In this program the children are taught basic sewing skills such as threading a needle, basic stitches, cutting fabric and using a template. Once basic skills have been learned the children will get the opportunity to try sewing with a machine. Each week the children have a choice of projects to choose from such as stuffed animals, pillows, pin cushions, bags etc. The children are also encouraged to use their own creative ideas and often come up with some pretty amazing items.

SCIENCE CLUB - 11 classes (early dismissal Feb 15th - class will start earlier - 12:15pm-1:45pm)
This is a hands-on program. Each week we will explore a different concept from simple machines to chemistry experiments. Some projects will include catapults, marble runs, windmills, making of gloop etc. Fine motor skills to use hot glue guns, scissors and nuts and bolts are an asset. The program focuses on creating a positive environment where children get to explore new concepts and then use their creativity to develop these new ideas.

THEATRE CLUB - 11 classes
In this popular class, the children are led through a variety of theatre games and improv. With guidance they learn theatre skills such as projection of voice, blocking, expression of emotion and creative storytelling. The children work as a team and learn how to support each other on stage. We will also work on a mini performance that will be created by the children from writing a script, set design, costumes, sound effects, music and blocking.
