What a weekend of cricket! Thank you to everyone who came out to make the Pembroke Lions Cricket Tournament such a memorable two days. From the exciting matches to the incredible team spirit, this event truly brought our community together.

Valley Hindu Parivaar wishes everyone a very Happy Independence Day!

Today we celebrate 80 years of freedom, unity, and the incredible spirit of India. From the Himalayas to the coastlines, from bustling cities to peaceful villages, India’s strength comes from her people and the values we carry forward, even here in Pembroke, Petawawa and Ottawa Valley.

As we fly the tricolour today, let’s remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and honour the values they stood for: unity, courage, and hope. Our community here in the Ottawa Valley continues to carry forward the spirit of India through our traditions, our celebrations, and the bonds we share as one family.
