🔥 BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT WHITEWATER FORGE! 🔥

I’m excited to announce that I’m almost ready to open the doors to my new blacksmith shop and showroom, located at 4395 Beachburg Road.

I’ve been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready and building up a fresh inventory of hand forged knives, ironwork, home décor, kitchen pieces, and plenty of one of a kind items for the new showroom.

I’ll also be expanding the class schedule with some new projects, including:

Forged Flowers
Door Knockers
Gate Pulls
Pot & Utensil Racks
Letter Openers
Book marks
…and more to come!

Once the new shop is up and running, I’ll be hosting an Open House where everyone is welcome to stop by, check out the new space, watch some forging demonstrations, and browse the latest work coming out of the forge.

I’ll also be giving the Whitewater Forge website a complete update, including new products, services, classes, and pricing. I’ll be creating a brand new set of regular shop hours as well, making it easier for everyone to know when they can stop in and visit. I’m also now accepting debit and credit at the shop for payment as well.

I’m hoping to be fully moved in and officially open by September, and I’ll be announcing the Open House date and all the details as we get closer.

This is a pretty exciting new chapter for Whitewater Forge, and I can’t wait to finally open the doors and welcome everyone into the new shop!

Really proud of how this set of Damascus wedding bands came together.

Each ring was forged from a 150 layer billet of 1095 and 15N20 steel, giving both bands their own one of a kind Damascus pattern. They’re finished with a hand carved gold inlay, creating a clean, timeless contrast against the steel.

The set is completed with a handcrafted black walnut ring box, made to be just as special as what’s inside.

It’s always an honour to create something so meaningful for a couple two pieces made to be worn, treasured, and passed down for generations.

Thank you for trusting me to be a part of such an important chapter in your lives.

Just finished the first of six flowers I’m hand forging for a custom sculpture.

Each flower is individually forged from 5/16” plate steel, giving them a strong, substantial look while still allowing me to bring plenty of detail and character into each piece.

This is going to be a really unique project, and I’m excited to see how all six flowers come together in the finished sculpture.

Just finished this custom Bird & Trout knife commission today.

The blade is hand crafted from premium 440C stainless steel, offering excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. It’s paired with a orange G10 handle, secured with black pins for a durable, comfortable grip that’s built to last a lifetime.

Another custom piece ready for its new owner.

Finished forging this decorative flower hook today

The flower was hand forged from 1/8” plate steel, while the hook itself was forged from 1/4” × 1/2” flat bar. The flower is attached to the hook with a hand forged copper rivet, adding both strength and a beautiful handcrafted detail. I’m really happy with how this project turned out.

Another custom commission finished up this morning. This custom chef’s knife features a hand forged 195 layer ladder pattern Damascus blade, forged from 1095 high carbon steel and 15N20 steel. The handle is made with a beautiful piece of box elder burl, accented with black carbon fiber pins.

Finished sharpening a customer’s beautiful Japanese sushi knife this morning with a hand polished edge, honed to an ultra fine 10,000 grit finish for an exceptional razor sharp edge.

I’ve also added a dedicated knife sharpening page to my website, complete with my updated sharpening services and pricing. Whether it’s your everyday kitchen knives, hunting knives, or specialty blades, I’d be happy to bring them back to life.
