Missing those smiles so much 💙
He doesn't really smile anymore. I'm not exactly sure when it happened, it's been a while though. They faded away gradually. We see what appears as a smile from time to time, but it's usually obvious that it's not purposeful, and often instead caused by seizure activity (https://www.epilepsy.com/learn/types-seizures/gelastic-and-dacrystic-seizures).

This was such a good day. I remember the owner approached me to say that our family could attend for free at any time, and their daughter was so sweet and concerned about Daniel even though she was just a wee tot. She stroked his cheek and consoled him, simply because she sensed he was "special." It's one thing when adults express kindness towards Daniel, but when children do... there's nothing that warms my heart more. I hope this reaches them (I think the owner is Maria?) And that they're still operational or will be again soon, due to these uncertain times. Thanks for the wonderful memory. 💕
