Due to uncontrollable circumstances, I am not at the craft market at the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival today.

I will be at the Listowel Spring Market at Between The Lines on Sunday, April 26 from 10-2.

The snow might not be gone, but we’re thinking spring markets!
Sticks & Stones will be at 3 markets this spring:
- Spring Market at the Milverton Rec Complex on Saturday, March 21, 11-3
- Elmira Maple Syrup Festival Craft Market (in the high school) on Saturday, April 11, 8:30-4
- Listowel Spring Market at Between the Lines on Sunday, April 26, 10-2

All the usual popular designs will be there, but I’ve tried something new to appeal to the frugal shopper. These are little glass magnets, just one inch across, most with real flowers. A few of them have fun printed designs. There are more available than what’s shown here.
They are $3 each or 2 for $5. They look like they’re floating!

I really like how these turned out. Alyssum is a surprisingly easy flower to preserve and work with; too bad the aroma doesn’t last after it’s been dried! And Queen Anne’s Lace is always popular; could be a Christmas decoration or nice for year round.

Working on stuff for upcoming markets, one fall market and then several Christmas markets in November!
Making new designs and remaking some favourites. Even when the design is the same, the outcome is always different when working with natural items.
I have a few autumn designs, and it’s never too early for Christmas work, is it? Snowmen, gnomes, Nativities, and ornaments… ‘tis the season!
