Please note venue is a 2nd floor location (25 stairs up) and not accessible for wheelchairs nor are washrooms. Great concert hall and event space right downtown in Owen Sound serving the Grey/Bruce region. Beautiful, warm, inviting space on the 2nd floor with great natural light. Excellent PA, lighting and video. Available and suitable for many types of functions. Ample seating, beautiful bar, skylights, outdoor patio, artists green room, set up for catering (kitchen). Right above the amazing Heartwood Home store (and cafe) on the main level! Please note that due to the fact that we are a 2nd floor location there are 25 stairs and 2 landings at front entrance. We apologize that we are non-accessible (nor are the washrooms accessible).

THIS SUNDAY Oct. 18th: Have you booked your reservation for KEVIN DANDENO AND THE DESPERADO TROUBADOURS CD RELEASE PARTY (MATINEE) at Parkwood Restaurant? After playing bass in bands for over 50 years Kevin Dandeno steps out front with his first solo project “THE DESPERADO TROUBADOURS”.
The band WILL BE PLAYING COUNTRY ROCK WITH A GREAT 70S VIBE: think Amazing Rhythm Aces, Rodney Crowell, Eagles, Jimmy Buffett and more.

THE DESPERADO TROUBADOURS are SCOTT MACGREGOR (bass), ROGER WILLIAMSON (guitar & steel guitar) and JEFF KAHL (drums). These great musicians need no introductions to the Grey Bruce music community.

Kevin spent time with ADAM FERRI at BIG BAY SOUND which became a project recording some songs to produce "The BIG BAY SESSIONS VOL 1": 6 cover versions of some of Kevin’s favourite songs. It was decided that 100% of the money from CDs SOLD will be donated to Grey Bruce Hospice Chapman House.

TONIGHT FRIDAY Oct. 16 at Parkwood Restaurant we present another "PARK AFTER DARK", post-dining live music show featuring SWITCHBACK! Switchback is a LOCAL COUNTRY, ROCK, & BLUES BAND formed by Oliver Clark, Jacob Phelan, Dick Beresford, and Frank DeMatteis. If you missed them earlier this year at HEARTWOOD, this is the night to come out for both great food & drink and live music! They bring danceable tunes from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and more!

With gigs under their belt such as the Salmon Spectacular Fishing Derby, The Emancipation Festival, Heartwood Hall, and more, they can’t wait to be the soundtrack for your Friday night at Parkwood.
