Please note venue is a 2nd floor location (25 stairs up) and not accessible for wheelchairs nor are washrooms. Great concert hall and event space right downtown in Owen Sound serving the Grey/Bruce region. Beautiful, warm, inviting space on the 2nd floor with great natural light. Excellent PA, lighting and video. Available and suitable for many types of functions. Ample seating, beautiful bar, sky

lights, outdoor patio, artists green room, set up for catering (kitchen). Right above the amazing Heartwood Home store (and cafe) on the main level! Please note that due to the fact that we are a 2nd floor location there are 25 stairs and 2 landings at front entrance. We apologize that we are non-accessible (nor are the washrooms accessible).

SUNDAY Oct. 4th: THE BLUE WATER JAZZ COLLECTIVE — High-Energy Modern Jazz at Parkwood Restaurant! Back by popular demand after three highly acclaimed, sold-out 2026 performances, the Blue Water Jazz Collective returns to Parkwood for a special Sunday afternoon jazz matinee.

The bands powerful grooves and inventive arrangements bring a fresh approach to some of jazz’s most iconic standards, from hard-driving 4/4 and 6/8 swing to Latin samba, high-energy funk and blues shuffles. The program also features Stu’s original hip-hop-inspired composition, “Blue Stew.”

Founding members Stu Steinhart and Rob Gasidlo are joined for this performance by Jay Reed on guitar and Mike Campbell on drums, bringing new energy and a new dimension to the Collective’s distinctive sound.

Expect virtuosic improvisation and spontaneous musical interplay that make every performance exciting and unique. BWJC: Stu Steinhart — Bass & Arrangements, Rob Gasidlo — Piano & Organ, Mike Campbell — Drums, Jay Reed — Guitar.

THIS THURSDAY Sept. 3rd. Our great COLLECTIVE JAM night at Parkwood Restaurant kicks off for fall, 1st & 3rd Thursdays of the month! As always, our city’s finest musicians will take to the PARKWOOD STAGE and jam out together! There is always a core group of pros to entertain and you just never know who's going to be in the house and get up on stage! These seasoned stage warriors are sure to provide some great takes on songs you love along with original material from the "collective members"! THIS SATURDAY AUG. 29th: BIG BAD WOLF ARE BACK at Parkwood Restaurant! SHOW UPDATE: BIG BAD WOLF are now joined by the BLUESHIFT HORNS! BIG BAND MATINEE! B*W are a blues-inspired quartet featuring Brian O'Rourke on guitar/vocals, Steven Morel on drums/vocals, Joel Dawson on bass/vocals, and Larry White on organ/vocals!

They travel traditional blues roads from Howlin' Wolf to Taj Mahal; take musical side trips through New Orleans and Chicago; and even make pit stops at some more modern R&B and popular music attractions. Blues and jazz-tinged guitar licks ride on the muscle-car rumble of a well-oiled rhythm section, while howls and sweet harmonies fill the back seat.

Grab your basket, tie up your hood and take a trip with BIG BAD WOLF!
