This day in Dearstory, 2006: The Dears release their third album Gang Of Losers on various labels around the world. It was recorded in the home of Natalia Yanchak and Murray A. Lightburn in between the fall and winter of 2005. Soon after its release they toured all over; Australia, UK, Europe, USA, Mexico, and Canada. It was the first album they made that was leaked on the internet — 6 months prior to release. They released three singles; Ticket To Immortality, You And I Are A Gang Of Losers, and Whites Only Party. It streams across the internet today. You can probably find it second hand stores. You can also get a 2016 vinyl remastered/reissue/repackaged on Paper Bag Records — limited copies left in stock before that print is gone forever. Link in bio.
