With the hustle and bustle of life, we haven’t been as active on our socials lately...but today feels like an important day to share something meaningful.

Our third fundraising event, “A Spanish Serenade,” is just seven weeks away. This special concert soirée supports Ronald McDonald House Ottawa, a charity that holds a very special place in our hearts.

When Brandon was a young boy, his younger sister Vanessa was diagnosed with brain cancer. For five months, while his two-year-old sister received treatment at Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), the Ronald McDonald House Ottawa provided Brandon and his family with a home away from home, and incredible support during an unimaginably difficult time.

Vanessa sadly lost her battle at the age of four, on this very day in 1994.

Each year that we host this fundraising concert, we proudly choose Ronald McDonald House Ottawa as our beneficiary. We do so to honour Vanessa’s memory and to give back to the organization that supported Brandon and his family when they needed it most. Our hope is to help them continue their extraordinary work for families facing similar challenges.

A SPANISH SERENADE FOR A CAUSE

We are honoured to continue our longstanding partnership with Ronald McDonald House Ottawa, an organization that has been at the heart of our mission since our first fundraising concert in 2022.

It’s been over a year since our last fundraising concert for Ronald McDonald House Charities Ottawa, but we’re still in awe of the magic and success of that unforgettable evening. With a quieter wedding calendar until the end of the month, Dian will be meeting with our amazing planner, , for a site visit later this week. We’re so excited to lock in a date and venue and start bringing the next event to life!

We had the most perfect evening at celebrating “La Vie en Rose” and their 15th anniversary. Our only wish? That we could’ve stayed longer and seen even more of our favourite faces.

We are Luxe Duo, a husband-and-wife cello-piano duo bringing romantic, elegant music to weddings and events across Ontario.

With wedding season 2025 now in full swing, we’re so excited to share our upcoming performances and love stories with you!

To our wonderful supporters,

We wanted to take a moment to share that we’ve made the tough decision to pause this year’s fundraising concert for Ronald McDonald House Charities Ottawa. While this event is close to our hearts, this season has brought an incredible opportunity—Brandon has taken on the exciting adventure of conducting our local community orchestra for their end-of-February concert!

With the intensity of rehearsals, our regular work and performances, and raising our little ones, we realized that to do justice to both our music and our mission, we need to give ourselves the time to plan, practice, and make next year’s fundraiser bigger, better, and more impactful than ever.
