Fiber Art Workshops Creative fiber art workshops for all ages, led by Emna. We aim to spark creativity, build connections, and weave memories together.

My name is Emna, a textile artist with a Fine Arts degree and a background in elementary education. I create with fibers to explore movement, materials, and inner rhythms. Growing up surrounded by knitting, crochet, and embroidery shaped my creative path, and now I share the joy of hands-on fiber art with people of all ages.

Un magnifique atelier intergénérationnel, où petits et grands se sont retrouvés autour d’une même passion : l’art textile.

De belles rencontres, des échanges, de la créativité et surtout une ambiance chaleureuse qui a rendu ce moment vraiment spécial.

Merci infiniment à toutes les personnes qui ont partagé cet atelier avec moi. C’est exactement ce que j’aime dans ces rencontres : l’art qui rassemble, peu importe l’âge.

There is something special about turning what we already have into something beautiful.

Yesterday at Perley Health, we explored weaving through an eco-conscious approach, using old clothing, fabric scraps, and leftover yarn from previous projects.

Instead of letting these materials go to waste, we gave them a new purpose. With imagination, colours, textures, and each person’s own touch, they slowly became unique woven pieces.

For me, this is the beauty of sustainable textile art: looking differently at what we might usually throw away and discovering all the creative possibilities it still holds.

From forgotten fabrics to pieces made with creativity, care, and pride.

I’m happy to share that Fiber Art Workshops is part of Perley Health’s August programming through the Active Seniors and Veterans Living Centre.
Join me for a relaxing Mini Weaving Workshop where we’ll create a beautiful wall hanging using recycled materials. No previous weaving experience is required, and all materials are included.

A Look Back at Last Saturday’s Workshop.

Last Saturday’s Level 2 workshop was a beautiful moment of creativity and sharing.

Each participant came with an idea, and together we worked to bring it to life through guidance, new techniques, and encouragement.

What touched me most was seeing each person create something truly personal. I came to inspire them, but I left feeling just as inspired by their creativity.
