The story behind the art: We were a big group of photographers who traveled from all over the world to this tiny village in Norway called Hoddevik.

I ran from the model to create space between us. I couldnā€™t believe the view I had. It was just me and her despite being surrounded by so many people and it was like the whole world stopped for us. ā€

The first time I travelled to Rio was in 2011 on my 1 year solo backpacking trip.

I was mesmerized by the coastline as I drove past Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana Beach. It was iconic and just as I always imagined.

In August 2025 I had the chance to return and bring to life a special moment. Pedra de Gavea (the mountain I climbed back in 2011) and Dois IrmĆ£os, shot from Ipanema Beach.

In French Polynesia, I was lucky enough to stay with my dear friend Tanja who had an oceanfront bungalow at the time.

Most mornings we spent paddling out in the lagoons, gliding through crystal clear waters. She moved like a mermaid in the water.

This exact location appeared to be her Cove, taking breaks from long breath holds and dancing in the sea as we made art together.

This print then took on the name ā€˜Sirenā€™s Coveā€™ šŸŒŠšŸ¤ Itā€™s available on my website, and feels like having a window to the ocean in your home, quietly transporting you to the sea.
