Calling all the witchy girlies, manifestation baddies, and purple / history lovers!
This piece is called "Regal Abundance" and is a highly textured brush stoke abstract inspired by the history of purple and it's emotional, historical, and spiritual significance. Read below or check out my website to read more about the inspiration of this piece.

Painting Details:
Title: Regal Abundance
5.8"x8.3" Abstract Acrylic Painting on Paper.
Comes with a certificate with details of the piece.

Inspiration: Historically, purple has been a color associated with wealth and royalty (because natural pigments for purple are rare and expensive so the only people who could afford items dyed purple were the wealthy or royals). However, more modern associations of purple include dream states of fantasy. So I wanted to create a mesmerizing mix of shades of purple that felt dreamy or like the night with a rich tone that's a nod to the historical aspects of this color.

What do you see in this painting?

"Shapes of Imagination" is an abstract watercolour painting meant to inspire creative thought and spark the imagination to think outside the box. So, I'm curious... what do you see?

Want this painting in your home? find it on my website genaumonierart.square.site

Painting Details:
Title: Shapes Of Imagination
8.5" x 11" Abstract Watercolor Painting on Paper.
Comes with a certificate with details of the piece.
Inspiration: I designed this piece not only to draw the eye but to invite the view to figure out for themselves what they see. The Abstract forms and play of bold, contrasting colors makes for a fun composition and brings attention to the forms. A few things I see: A Fae Unicorn, A purple pterodactyl, a pod of dolphins, ripening peaches. What about you? What do you see?

Well, did it work?
This piece was part of a trio of wavy abstracts with blue teal tones and metallic accents with each color leading into the next. This is the last one left and that shocks me as it's my favourite. The shiny teal blue and the metallic copper make me think of peacock feathers.

Interested in this piece or any of my other abstracts? Find them on my website!

I painted this piece while listening to one of my favourite albums. Want to try and guess which one?
(Hint: the Album is 🫴me🔙2🍎🐍 by 💤💰)

I painted this piece right after I moved to Scotland in 2023, renting a room in a town just outside Glasgow. This album was introduced to me by one of my best friends literal days before I moved and it became a huge part of the begging of my journey (I spent the plane ride there listening to the band's discography and pining over the person who is soon to become my husband). This piece is meant to represent change, and the fear that comes with it. The feeling of standing at the precipice of something amazing and knowing it will be scary, but that the golden light at the end is so worth it.

Piece details:
Title: Standing at the Edge
8.3"x11.7" original artwork. Acrylic paint on canvas sheet.
Comes with a certificate with details of the piece.
Available on my online shop.

Did anyone else go out to see the lunar eclipse the other night?
I stayed outside for as long as the moon was visible and managed to capture some amazing shots with my trusty old canon. A nice mix of moon / crater shots and glowing moon flares (with colourful lens flares too!)

No tripod. No Special Equipment. Just a gal with a lot of balence, patience, and moon obsessed energy using a camera about as old as she is!

These photos are brand new and not posted offically to my main portfolio yet, but if your interested in these photos you can order custom signed prints or licensing inquiries through my website.

Revealing my painting to all the girlies who love glitter and sparkle. This piece is called “Cosmic Glitter”

“Cosmic Glitter” is an original abstract work of acrylic paint on canvas sheet. A mix of metallic paint and a satin varnish with glitter mixed in gives the piece sheen and sparkle from all angles.

Shortly after my surgery last May I created a few Pieces like this; “Chaos Healing” (Which is currently staying in my personal collection), “Minty Fresh”, and “Cosmic Glitter”. The flowing patterns, texture, and bold colors of each piece was a way to help me document my healing process (while also finding catharsis) through my art.

Interested in this piece? You can find it on my website along with a bunch of other original works that just launched on genaumonierart.square.site!

Story Time!
The pieces in this video have been on a JOURNEY! I painted these pieces back in 2021 and 2022 when I was first experimenting with abstract watercolours. This was before I ever thought about selling my original paintings.

I had been painting as a hobby for years and always loved watercolours but would always would get frustrated when they behaved in ways I hadn’t planned for. A skillshare course and a willingness to step outside of my comfort zone later and these we’re created. And now abstract watercolours are one of my favourite things to do when I just want to play around or get out of a painting slump.

However, while I had my work up online, I never thought to sell the originals and so I would store all of my work in a portfolio folder.

When I moved in 2023 (first back to BC and then to Scotland) the folder that held them (and countless more experiments) got lost in my move. When you move half-way across the country and then to another country all together things do tend to go missing.

I thought they were gone forever! And then during a visit trying to clear out the last of my stuff in August 2025 there was the folder buried at the bottom of the box still full of original paintings in perfect condition. Many have already sold, but these one’s… my first adventure into abstracts… are still available and are up now on my website. They’ve been through a lot over the years and I think they’re ready for their new home.
