Performing this morning for the CIBC Run for the Cure at Tunney's Pasture. Over 2500 walkers and runners went by us on this cool, but sunny morning. They raised over $600,000 for Breast Cancer research.

Here is a final post of photos from the Eksjö International Tattoo, highlighting the other bands that performed in the tattoo.

It was an honour to represent Canada and the RCMP in Sweden, both at the Baltic Sea Festival in Karlshamn and at the tattoo, and it was a unique opportunity to showcase our music and dance. We quickly learned that hearing the bagpipes played live is not common in Sweden, and everywhere that we performed, the audience was hugely appreciative.

A special thank you to our hosts in Karlshamn and Eksjö. They took excellent care of us throughout the trip and helped to ensure that everything went as smoothly as possible, while helping to enrich our experience in Sweden.

For most of the band and dancers, our adventure in Sweden is over. While some are extending their stays in Europe and a few are heading on to join an RCMP composite band for a tattoo in Finland, many of us are in transit today, home to Canada.

Here are some photos from the Friday and Saturday evening performances at the Eksjö International Tattoo. More photos will follow, including photos of some of the other performers, and some video will follow when there is a better wifi connection.

It has been an amazing couple of weeks, and there are more stories to tell, but it will be very nice to be back home. Next stop ... the Glengarry Highland Games on Friday evening!

A nice selection of photos by the Ukrainian band. We met with them for photos between shows on Saturday. We showed our support by playing their National Anthem on the pipes. They gratefully acknowledged Canada's support for their country. Some nice photos of our meeting are in this post.

Last night was the first night of the Eksjö International Tattoo. We are honoured to be part of the show, sharing the parade square with other bands from Sweden, Ukraine, France, Jordan, the USA, and NATO.

It was an absolutely perfect night for a tattoo, and we were very pleased with our performance. Here is a selection of photos from our show, as well as the grand finale. We are back on this evening, and there are two shows tomorrow: a matinee and an evening show.
