Come on out to our last show on Friday! After this we're going in 's vault!

For our last show we're inviting on a local standup, improvisor, and friend Michel Carpentier!

Michel Carpentier (he/him) is an Ottawa improv and stand up comedian. He was once cast in a 1990s high school dinner theatre production, tried stand-up once in 2017 and now performs with Ottawa improv troupes Indoor Recess and Cardigans Improv. He was the inaugural winner of the Maesteo Improv competition show in Ottawa in 2023 and is an active participant in Improv Embassy classes and Embassy-adjacent workshops. Most notably, he’s been known to travel great distances to watch improv and stand up be performed by other more talented artists.

This is our 3rd show under the Wayward Improvised Theatre banner and we're having a blast!

Joining us this Saturday is an extra special guest star Woody Field McCadden

Woody is a facilitator at the Improv Embassy and Performs with the improv groups Safeword and The Power of the Mind. He has performed improv in Ottawa Fringe as well as improv festivals in Ottawa and Montreal. He's passionate about comedy and being very silly. When he's not being silly, he's usually building cabinets.

We're back again on Saturday with another fantastic guest star: Deborah Ring !!!

Deborah has a degree in theatre from York University and a post-graduate certificate in scriptwriting from Algonquin College. She studied at the Second City Conservatory in Toronto, the iO Theatre in Chicago and the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York. As part of the sketch troupe LadyBusiness and Disco Taxi improv, she’s been an official selection to improv and sketch comedy festivals across North America. Deborah has taught with the Improv Embassy for years. Deborah has also written and starred in several fringe festival shows. She also wrote, directed and performed for the long running sketch comedy show the Sh*t Hot Sh*t Show in Ottawa.

Hey everyone! We're back on a sound stage near you (so long as you live in Ottawa) THIS SATURDAY October 5th!

We're excited to be part of Wayward Improvised Theatre's 2024/2025 lineup! They've got a great set of shows this season so stay tuned to their page for everything that's coming up.

However without any more ado, welcome our guest star for Saturday Patrice-Ann Forbes !!!

Patrice Forbes (They/Them) strives daily to blend creativity, entertainment and community building into their insanely busy life. Producer of Ottawa Improv Jamboree, Jam Nation and A Very Fine Improv Show, Patrice champions the belief that Improv is theatre and art, and should be showcased with all the pomp and circumstance as a Shakespeare production. Using their knowledge of live performance; Patrice has a degree from the University of Ottawa in theatre and runs their own theatre company Dead Unicorn Ink, they aim to create spaces where Improv artists can feel welcome, experiment and display their immense talent. Patrice works backstage in wardrobe in theatres across Ottawa, teaches Circus School, designs costumes and sets for local theatres, runs community development initiatives in theatre and improv in Ottawa and creates textile and visual art when time allows. Patrice is supported by incredible partners Ted and Josh and by future improv star, Moira.
