Дорогі друзі!
Вчора відбулася подія, яку і діти і дорослі чекають кожен рік – ми колядували по домівках. Цю українську традицію ми підтримуємо з 2022 року. Саме підготовкою до колядок у грудні 2022 року, ми почали історію створення нашого хору.
Для нас колядки це добра звістка, можливість побачити і привітати друзів, подарувати тепло та радість всім учасникам – і тим, хто колядує, і тим хто запрошує колядників. Ми їздимо по домівках, співаємо колядки, бажаємо щастя, радості та здоров’я родинам. Господарі ж радо вітають нас, дякуючи нам гостинністю, інколи їжею та смаколиками, і грошима на коляду.
Наприкінці дня – втомлені і щасливі, ми ділимо все, що наколядували серед учасників та віддаємо частину на церкви.
Хочемо поділитися з вами теплом і радістю, які панували вчора.
Вітаємо всіх з Різдвом та наближенням Нового Року!
Dear friends,
Yesterday, an event took place that both children and adults look forward to every year – we went caroling from house to house. We have been keeping this Ukrainian tradition alive since 2022. In fact, it was during the preparations for caroling in December 2022 that the story of our choir began.
To us, caroling is good news, an opportunity to see and greet friends, and a chance to bring warmth and joy to everyone involved – both those who sing and those who welcome the carolers. We visit homes, sing carols, and wish families happiness, joy, and health. In return, hosts warmly greet us, often offering hospitality, treats, and sometimes monetary gifts for the carolers.
At the end of the day – tired but happy – we share everything we collected among the participants and donate a portion to the churches.
We want to share with you the warmth and joy that filled the day yesterday.
