Bidding is open for Art for Impact: Auction for The Ottawa Hospital’s New Campus Development.

Happy to have one of my paintings up for auction for this great cause.

Morning Has Broken (2020) oil and acrylic on canvas, 60 x 48 inches.

For this painting I used my son’s drawings as source materials. During the pandemic, we’ve spent many many hours in the studio together, basically joined at the hip. A question I often asked myself, and one that remains relevant, is how do we play when the need for play is urgent.

Yesterday my collaborator and I were on the radio with to talk about our painting show on now . I couldn’t stop smiling during the interview because my collaborator I’d often on my case about the radio, “Mom, how come so many of your friends and people you know are on the radio and you’re not.
