To all of you, our long time supporters and forever friends of Dance Oasis, thank you. Thank you to each one of our dance parents and support from the community over the years. We are so grateful to have made the friendships and memories that will last a life time. Unfortunately, the name ‘Dance Oasis’ is being held on to. Wether your in the dance community or the community of Osoyoos, when you hear the name ‘Dance Oasis’ you think of Chrissie Serry. Chrissie worked very hard for all of us, to create a legacy for our family and our loved ones. There were hopes and big visions for me to continue and carry on this legacy loud and proud. However, it’s proven that this doesn’t work and it’s not the same without her. What does work, is letting go of things that aren’t meant to be and creating opportunities with a fresh start for all that is. Chrissie would want all of us to do what feels right, wether that’s dancing a little or dancing a lot, as long as we do it together. On that note….
Dance classes WILL continue through the Sonora Center with Robin! These classes will run as they have throughout the summer on a drop in schedule until Christmas break. Each week the style of dance will rotate. This creates a flexible schedule ensuring students are able to attend their other extra curricular activities.
