Drop-In & Drills Pickleball in Markham!

Join us for a weekly Pickleball session designed to be fun, fair, and welcoming for all skill levels. With 5 courts in play, participants will be grouped by level from Beginner/Novice (2.5–3.4) to Intermediate (3.5+), with courts assigned based on final registration. The format includes 1 beginner court, 3 drop-in play courts, and 1 dedicated drilling court.

Our certified coach, Coach Jack, will be onsite to support skill development, answer questions, and help players improve at their own pace. Whether you are brand new to the game or looking to sharpen your skills, this session offers the perfect mix of social play and friendly competition in an inviting environment.

Beyond the Baseline: Meet Sir Jack 🫡

Two summers ago, Jack’s life took an unexpected turn when his sister invited him to play pickleball. Before that, he had settled into a sedentary routine, borderline diabetic with frequent gout attacks, couch potato — after working full-time, with 10 - 12 hr days, in a technical trade career, he would unwind with video games at home. Though he had been an athlete growing up, playing basketball well into his 30s, his active lifestyle had faded.

Living just minutes from a dedicated outdoor pickleball court, Jack gave the sport a try—and immediately felt something click. He was drawn to the enjoyable-paced play, the friendly community, and how effortlessly his natural athleticism resurfaced. What started as casual games soon became an obsession; he was playing at least three times a week, staying on the courts until the lights shut off.

In just six months, Jack lost 38 pounds, regained his energy, and found joy in movement again. More importantly, he rediscovered his confidence and a sense of purpose. That passion led him to create 1UP Pickleball Club, where he now dedicates himself to inspiring others. He believes it’s never too late to find passion and purpose, and for him, pickleball was the key.

Today, Jack is a fierce advocate for the sport, hosting Pickleball drop-ins at Battle Arena and running beginner programs to introduce others to the game that changed his life. Every time he steps on the court, he’s not just playing—he’s connecting, inspiring, and helping transform lives, one d**k at a time.

BIIIIIIG CONGRATULATIONS to .pickleball for capturing GOLD 🥇, Marcus for capturing 🥈 and for capturing bronze 🥉at the men's singles match today 🎉🎉🎉

Fun fact: Adrian and Jack played each other in the semifinals, where Adrian took the W 15 - 13. It was such a great match! Loved to watch these pb friends on and off the court. 🏓🤜🏼🤛🏼🏓

🏆 Congratulations 🏆 to our for claiming 1st place at the Parade of Planets Tournament organized by Pickleheads GTA yesterday! The finals were thrilling, with a narrow win by 2 points, but they pulled through to secure the victory! This marks the ' second tournament and their first-ever FIRST place finish together.
