Dear SWS Parents, Students & Families and the Durham Region,
We want to take this moment to thank you all for each and every moment of time with your families. This studio and your children’s/families artistic and physical development have been my life’s work, mission and purpose for the last 20 years at Step/ a full 30 years instructing within the industry.
Step with Style Dance Production’s was my first baby and a labour of absolute love and devotion. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to each and every studio director, instructor, choreographer, competition owners as well as professional performers in the industry who reached out to offer your love and support at this time. We are blessed to have made it 20 full years with our school before being forced to close this chapter.
This is the end of a very long legacy of dance here at #214 King Street East Oshawa. We always felt so prideful that our location held so much history. Did you know that #214 King Street East has been dance a studio for over 60 years!- Burns, Heartbeat of Dance & then Step. Although we are sad to see this end we feel that everything happens for a reason and know that there are bigger and better things ahead for the Dubreuil Family.
We recommend families considering dance education for their children do their research and choose a studio with owners who not only have proper professional experience but also who have good morals, values and professional integrity as they will be your children’s role models. *Read the biographies carefully don’t be afraid ask for proof.

There are many schools in the area. In our opinion the following 2 have the most integrity and professionalism. This has been more than proven in their years here in Durham as they are the longest running dance studios in the area with a proven track record of success.

Both are exceptional ladies who will guide your students properly.
We hope that our clients will look into joining one of these two studios.
In closing, if you danced at Step you can forever be proud that you were a part of such a strong program & beautiful place with Directors who loved you all very much.
I feel incredibly lucky to have spent my teaching career where I grew up and where it all started. Watching my own children dance and grow here in Durham has been an incredible blessing that I will cherish forever. You have given us many beautiful years Durham and we THANK YOU for having us as long as you did.
