he certainly deserves to be mentioned with greats like Sitting Bull, Malcolm X, Mumia Abu Jamal,
Ghandi, Mandela.
brave souls who stood their ground and never flinched in the face of tyranny.

This is Alex Schaefer. He paints pictures of banks in flames.
mor considered than the rampant Luigi memes
or even the ones about the now surely
flatted TITAN sub ,
his work clearly represents frustration or rather a release
of it.
and no matter how many regressives i hear spout “cash is king”
on a daily basis, well, the King works for the bank and they decide what if anything that cash is worth in a post Gold Standard world.
theymove the decimal places around a bunch but you can’t tell me that an hourm’s
wage from anywhere at any rate has the the ammount of purchasing power it did even 15yrs ago. it doesn’t.
the banks are tyrants and extortionists.
though torching a bank wouldn’t do much but push up real estate and insurance premiums,
the cash isn’t even kept there any more.
factually most currency is digital contrivance and there is no bank on the planet that houses anywhere all the dollars and cents on their ledgers.
just ask for all you money and see what happens.
and i think Alex’s paintings are optimistic and look to a better world.
keep dreaming big kids.
make art.
the world needs it.
