Had a lovely conversation with Cove, from Ottawa who was cycling the Simcoe County Loop Trail. She spotted the painted bike piece in Downtown Orillia BIA and knew immediately where she could park her bike and explore the Downtown. After some food and drink at Brewery Bay Food Co. And Couchiching Craft Brewing Co. she was off to explore Coldwater Village BIA and continue on the cycling loop. Isn’t it fun to meet visitors and tourists who arrive in your town with fresh eyes and a sense of adventure! Orillia & Lake Country Tourism

Did you know that Downtown Orillia BIA has a volunteer Beautification Committee who help give the streets a little ‘glow up’? Recently, flower planters were added Downtown to enhance seating areas and various spots along the street. A big shoutout to NuScape Landscaping & Property Maintenance for their work to design and fill these planters!

This beautiful Streets Alive guitar sculpture went missing from the festival over the weekend. If you spot it or have any information on where it might be, please call the Mariposa office at 705-326-3655.

Streets Alive is such a great partner, helping to enrich the festival site with public art - help us get the guitar back to them.
