🎤 The Orillia Museum of Art & History (OMAH) and the Leacock Museum are pleased to present "If You Could Read My Mind…" Poetry & Music Lawn Night, a collaborative outdoor cultural event celebrating local talent, storytelling, music, and community connection.

📍 Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the beautiful grounds of the Leacock Museum (50 Museum Drive, Orillia). In the event of rain, programming will move indoors to OMAH.

Bring your lawn chair, settle in, and enjoy an evening of poetry and music in a relaxed outdoor setting inspired by the cultural and literary legacies that continue to shape our community.

🎨 Submissions Closing: Tradition Transformed 2026 🎨

The Orillia Museum of Art & History invites artists to submit their work for Tradition Transformed, our annual juried exhibition celebrating creativity, innovation, and contemporary interpretations of traditional themes, techniques, and ideas.

This exhibition showcases artists who challenge conventions, reimagine the familiar, and explore how traditions evolve through artistic expression. All artworks must in some way centrally address the theme of what the Canadian landscape means to you.

📅 Submission Deadline: July 31, 2026

Whether you're an emerging or established artist, we encourage you to share your unique vision and be part of this exciting exhibition.
