OMAH is looking for Birthday Party Facilitators! 🎨

The Orillia Museum of Art & History is seeking Birthday Party Facilitators on a casual, on-call basis to lead engaging, hands-on art experiences for children celebrating their birthdays at the Museum.

We’re looking for someone who is creative, reliable, organized, and confident working with children of a variety of ages, abilities, and learning styles. Experience teaching art to children is preferred, with ECE, C*C, YCW, SSW, OCT, or equivalent experience considered an asset.

🎨✨ Seniors in Studios is officially underway!

We’re so excited to welcome our participants to OMAH for a fall filled with creativity, connection, and inspiration. Our first session brought together seniors from across our community to explore art, try something new, and enjoy time creating together. 💛

Thanks to support from the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility, this program is offered free of charge, helping make creative opportunities accessible to older adults in our community.

We can’t wait to see what our participants create next! 🌟

🍂 Are you ready for Family Discovery Days at OMAH? 🎨

We’re kicking things off with Hello Fall! — a day full of hands-on creativity, seasonal fun, and family exploring at the museum! 🍁

✨ Pick & Stick Fall Wreaths
Ages 0–6 | 9–11 AM
Little makers can choose colourful leaves and seasonal decorations to create their very own one-of-a-kind fall wreath to take home!

🏮 Mason Jar Fall Lanterns
1–3 PM | Ages 6+
Get creative with tissue paper, Mod Podge, and fall-inspired designs to make a glowing lantern to brighten the season.

🌿 And there’s more!
Parklane Landscapes will also be adding their own flare to our Hello Fall day, bringing a little extra outdoor inspiration and seasonal fun for families to enjoy!

🎟️ $12 General Admission | $10 OMAH Family Members

Your admission includes museum admission for the day, all activity materials, Mariposa Mornings, and Community Creates!
