I’ve found myself in a bit of a slump lately, not in the mood to do much macrame or anything at all for that matter. With warmer days ahead and hopes of getting some sun on my skin soon should help bring my creative side back out!

This is a piece I did a few weeks back which I absolutely love the notch detail and bend in this piece of wood. Makes for a very beautiful piece ✨

Alright so here it is my repurposed magazine/book rack. I saw another artist ( ) bring a similar item back to life with their macrame art and really wanted to try one for myself. After cutting out the old material to make way for the cord, prepping, many many hours of knotting, and experimenting with a new pattern (which was quite frustrating at times) this was my end result! I couldn’t be any happier with how this one turned out 🖤

With the new year started I’ve really wanted to dive into doing some unique projects and pieces I haven’t done before. That being said I will still be making all of the original stuff but just want to try out some new stuff!
