Part of my 2026 goals was dabbling with abstract. I am a huge fan of abstract art, and I have always found it very intimidating to try because although some artists make it look easy, it’s not. I wanted this piece to represent me, and this IS me on a canvas. Bold, calm yet twirly, grounded, fierce and passionate.

This was a very freeing piece to make; experimental and confident all at once. I freaking loved doing this!

When I was younger, the tactile aspect of collage and papier mâché always appealed to me. This part of my art pieces brings me joy like it did when I was a child. It’s a pretty special feeling.
