Happy International Rug Hooking Day !!! We were a bit cheeky this year in Ontario Canada and celebrated a month early to avoid the snow ! So we get to celebrate twice !!! All the best everybody ! Hope you have a hook in your hand and some good company !

A friendly reminder that our Special Retreat Room Rate closes on Jan 31st 2026, so be sure to book by then!

All retreat guests are required to stay a minimum of one night (Tuesday April 14th)at the resort. If you are sharing a double occupancy room, you must provide the name of your roommate / co attendee when booking.

Look who’s popping bye to chat about the Magnificent Bugs in Rugs exhibition and children’s book!

Will be welcoming Leslie Knight on day two of the HOOKED retreat to chat about the travelling collection of 45 hand-hooked art rugs depicting magnificent bugs created by artists from around the world.

Copies of the book will be for sale after the presentation, proceeds from the books sales will be used to create programs for children to promote rug making to a new generation.

Hooked pillows are a wonderful addition to any room and the best part is that you can customize them to any size, design and colour plan to suit your decor.

This short demo will be taking place at HOOKED 2026 with Martina Lesar.
She will teach you how to create a pillow from your hooked mat. No sewing experience is required with the exception of whip stitching. How great is that ??!!!!
