Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Lucid Tranquility Fusion Dance!

Things have been quiet this year and will be for a little while longer yet. Expect new exciting things to be happening in the upcoming year! There are plans in place and projects being worked on, we look forward to getting our hips moving again! See you in the new year :).

As you may or may not know, Lucid tranquility has moved itself to the central of BC in 100 Mile House, things have been quiet as of late as we are working on rebuilding and discovering a community locally here and in the surrounding areas.

An online site is in the stages of being finalized and published for people to follow news and information on performances. There will be an addition to the site allowing students to apply for online belly dance lessons, an instructing method that enables long distance learning in the inconvenience of your own home.

As developments continue updates will be posted.

In the mean time keep on those feet and remember to consume yourself in the movement of your dance.

~ Never a day is wasted when we have danced at least once ~

Charun Stone/Muerte Belle and Sarah Herbert perform their original wind up toy choreography to Beats Antiques 'revival' for the first time at the Valentine's Dinner and Dance Dry grad Fundraiser.

Sarah discovers a veiled figure and turns the key bringing to life the wind up toy. The toy begins to dance and freezes momentarily as Sarah rushes to turn the key to keep it moving, she maintains the momentum turning the key again and again until the doll gains a life of its own! They dance together playfully until the wind up doll ceases to move anymore, Sarah carefully covers up her toy and scurries off.

This is the first time these two lovely ladies have officially choreographed a piece together, it is also the first time the have officially performed together.

We look forward to seeing what's in store next!

Video Journal entry done on Jan 30. Goofing around with pops locks etc. It was fun, slowly getting my mojo' back one movement at a time.

I have learned to dance with the brace, and have also adapted myself to put little to no pressure on that knee, using surrounding muscles and movement to keep the weight distributed the best I can. Its been very challenging but its becoming less and less visible to me and less and less something that has to be thought about.
