And just like that… we’ve wrapped up Summer Camp 2026!

Our final Summer Splash Week was the perfect way to end an incredible summer! We packed the week with plenty of sunshine, laughter, friendly competition, creativity, and, of course, lots of water. From cheering on the Thunderbolts as they took the win in our Camp Olympics, to water kickball, coffee filter tie-dye, and an epic sponge battle, there was never a dull moment!

We also had a fantastic day at the Splash Park and were so excited to welcome the Olds Fire Department (Olds Fire Department 🇨🇦) for a special visit. A huge thank-you to them for taking the time to spend part of their day with our campers!

We ended our final week with an amazing summer celebration in Centennial Park, organized by FCSS (Community Connections Centre-Olds) and enjoyed alongside BGC (BGC Olds and Area). It was the perfect way to celebrate the friendships, memories, and fun that made this summer so special!

And finally, a HUGE shoutout to our incredible camp team! 👏 You all brought the energy, creativity, patience, and enthusiasm every single day and helped make this summer such a memorable experience for our campers. We couldn’t have done it without you!

What a summer it has been! Thank you to all of our campers and families for making Summer Camp 2026 one to remember. Until next summer!

What an incredible Science Week! 🔬🚀✨

Our learners explored science through hands-on experiments, challenges, and exciting discoveries all week long! We tested our engineering skills with a paper airplane competition, explored the states of matter by making oobleck, and discovered even more at the TELUS Spark Science Centre. We investigated acid vs. basic solutions by creating invisible ink messages, experimented with robotic cars, and wrapped up our week with a special guest session with Jesse, where we designed and created our very own solar systems! 🌎☀️🪐

A very special THANK YOU to TELUS Spark Science Centre (TELUS Spark) for having us and making our visit such a fun and memorable learning experience, and a huge thank you to our wonderful guest, Jesse (Jesse Muotoh) for inspiring our young scientists and making science come alive! 💫

And finally, a HUGE thank you to our amazing and supportive team for all of their efforts this week! Your creativity, enthusiasm, resilience and dedication made this Science Week truly out of this world and did not go unnoticed! 🚀🔬❤️

What an incredible Science Week! 🔬🚀✨

Our learners explored science through hands-on experiments, challenges, and exciting discoveries all week long! This week was all about our Master Chefs! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our campers got busy in the kitchen making delicious granola bars, energy bites, bannock, and monkey bread biscuits, and they absolutely crushed it!

Our campers also put their taste buds to the test this week with a blindfolded taste test challenge! From sweet surprises to silly reactions, there were lots of laughs and some very unexpected guesses. What a fun way to challenge our senses!

The fun didn’t stop there! We wrapped up the week with an amazing carnival complete with face painting, games, and a special movie projected on the wall!

A huge shoutout to our incredible leaders for being such great sports all week! Felicity took one for the team and got pied in the face with a cupcake, while Spencer rocked some fantastic face paint.

Thank you to everyone who made this week full of creativity, teamwork, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to see what next week brings!

Last Friday marked the end of our “Animal Adventues” summer camp! We did everything from cracking open our own fossils, to getting to pet reptiles to even visiting the Calgary Zoo!

Huge thank you to Calgary Reptile Parties for visiting us and teaching us all about reptiles and how to look after them!

Another HUGE thank you goes out to Dr. Ken Fry at Olds College of Agriculture & Technology for letting us into his lab and teaching us about how to identify insects under a microscope!

Overall, fun was had by everyone and we cannot wait for our “Creative Kids” camp that is running from July 20-24. Register today on our website or by using the linktree in our bio!

Huge thank you to the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC) for their amazing presentation! We really appreciated getting to learn about how to protect our animals!

Another huge thank you to the Sundre Museum (Sundre & District Museum) for hosting us and teaching us all about taxidermy as well as the history of the people who lived here before us!
