✨ Friendly Faces Friday ✨

We’re excited to introduce Ashley, one of our amazing camp staff members this summer! Ashley is originally from Olds and is currently a second-year Psychology student at Queen's University in Ontario. Over the last two years, she has worked as an au pair in England, caring for children ages 7–9 and gaining valuable experience creating fun, supportive, and engaging environments for kids.

Ashley loves learning new instruments and enjoys playing piano, accordion, and violin. In her free time, you can also find her hiking, reading, and spending time outdoors. She is incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and brings a calm, quiet confidence that helps everyone around her feel comfortable and included.

We’re so excited to have Ashley on our camp team this summer and know campers are going to love getting to know her!

✨ Friendly Faces Friday ✨

We’re excited to welcome Spencer back to our camp team this summer! Spencer is a recent graduate of Olds High School and brings so much energy, positivity, and enthusiasm to everything he does. After working with us last year, we are incredibly grateful to have him returning for another summer of camp fun!

Spencer is passionate about all things athletics and can often be found on the basketball court or spending time at the gym lifting weights. Along with his love for sports and staying active, Spencer is known for his kind heart, caring personality, and amazing sense of humour. He always goes out of his way to make others feel included, supported, and encouraged.

We know campers are going to have an amazing time with Spencer this summer, and we can’t wait for all the fun, laughs, and memories ahead! ☀️

✨ Friendly Faces Friday ✨

We’re so excited to welcome Emily Cartwright back to the CLC summer camp team! Emily was one of our camp leads last year, and we are so happy to have her returning for another summer of fun and adventure with our campers.

In the fall, Emily will be entering her third year of her Bachelor of Behavioural Science degree focusing on Psychology and Sociology. She also brings eight years of experience programming activities and events for children and holds a HIGH FIVE certificate in Principles of Healthy Child Development.

In her free time, Emily enjoys writing stories, reading, art journaling, and watching movies. She loves learning and trying new things, which makes her a fantastic fit for camp. Her creativity, kindness, and enthusiasm help create a fun and welcoming environment for all of our campers.

We can’t wait for another amazing summer with Emily on our team!

✨ Friendly Faces Friday ✨

Say hello to Felicity Clifford, one of our incredible camp staff members joining us this summer! Felicity is currently working toward her Bachelor of Elementary Education and will be starting her third year this fall. With four years of experience in multi-child care settings and her Level 1 Early Childhood Education certification through the Government of Alberta, she brings both experience and enthusiasm to our camp team.

Outside of school and work, Felicity enjoys spending time in the mountains, exploring the outdoors with her dog Murphy, reading, and taking on all kinds of creative projects. She loves finding ways to make activities fun, engaging, and memorable for kids, and is always ready to join in on games, crafts, and camp adventures.

And yes! Those are kangaroos and wallabys in her photo!

We are so excited to have Felicity helping create a positive, welcoming, and fun environment for all of our campers this summer! ☀️

We’re excited to introduce Abbey, our amazing Administrative Officer here at the CLC! Abbey is an important part of our team and helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She’s incredibly kind, welcoming, and always knows how to make people laugh with her great sense of humour.

In her free time, Abbey enjoys golfing, reading, spending time outdoors walking her dog Russell, and capturing special moments through photography. She has a real talent for making people feel comfortable and bringing positive energy wherever she goes.

We’re so lucky, and thankful, to have Abbey as part of our CLC team, and looking forward to our campers getting to know her on some of our field trips! ☀️
