Time to celebrate this badass human. Plays guitar like a gangster, sings like a mourning dove and works his backend off. Frontman for “Picking Up the Pieces: The Songs of Gordon Lightfoot” Co-Frontman of “The Life and Times of Jim Croce” and sideman/co-captain of John Hewitt & the New Americans. Also busy as all hell on his solo ventures. Edmonton is lucky to have a musician like Benjamin Williams. A talent rarely seen anywhere, and we’re grateful to have him on board this ship.

Congratulations to the winner of the “Chaos & Conversation” Cover contest .music !!

We had a lot of fun going through the performances and took it very seriously finding a cover that stood out. Although there were several, we thought that Erin’s rendition of “Mason’s Garden” had an almost theatrical quality that helped bring the story into a different world of storytelling. We thank everyone who submitted and appreciate the time it took for you to learn these songs.

This contest was judged by two members of the New Americans and two unbiased external judges and we came to a unanimous decision!
