I have pretty much taken the year off from building to home school my 3 children. But not completely. I have had some time to do stuff for family and friends. Check out some of the stuff I have done or helped with over the past 7 months. Stay tuned for more as the school year winds down.

After a short break. Got back to the desk today. The pictures don’t do it justice but the grey stain turned out amazing....

Lots of progress today. Got the underside of the desk all lined up for drawers and mounts for the legs. Started working on the monitor stands. Next step is the hardwood trim. That will take a few days because each piece is glued and clamped for 24 hours.

Didn't take long but we are onto something new. Had a special request to build a sit/stand desk after helping a friend build his recently. These are the legs for the desk I assembled today. It is motorized with controls for up and down as well as 3 programmable settings for your favourite levels of comfort. I know this is a little outside the box of stuff we do, but challenge accepted.
