CCNC Cultural Resilience Workshop for local arts organizations and individuals. Saturday, January 21st!

Creative City Network of Canada in partnership with the Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC) will be hosting a workshop for local arts organizations and individuals in Oakville this Saturday.

This is a specially-curated 3-hour session to serve your local arts organizations and individuals, as they look to create increased resilience in their operations after the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Attendees will:
• Learn about innovative approaches to stabilization that took place throughout Canada’s culture sector during COVID-19.
• Explore proven leadership approaches that bolstered the fortitude of Canada’s arts organizations. Receive specific strategies and insights that can be applied to their future planning.

As part of the Grateful Treaty Person and Campaign, we invite you to share, in your own words, what Allyship or friendship feels and looks like to you. This can be done through poetry, spoken word, rap or song.

The Debwewin Allyship Poetry Contest is open to all Oakville, Sheridan College and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation post-secondary school students, with multiple winners to be announced. Submissions are open from November 7th to February 1st.
