Can't stop, won't stop! Mike & Murray are working with Guelph Museums and River Run Centre to explore new ways to bring musical theatre to audiences during COVID-19.

Working with our brilliant friends at MF2 Musicals, Ward 1 Studios, and River Run Centre on a special project coming soon to classroom screens in Guelph and beyond.

Three years ago, our journey started at The Canadian Music Theatre Project at Sheridan College. They're still going strong, supporting the development of new Canadian musicals. Be sure to tune in this Sunday for their 2020 Festival of New Musicals!

Murray Foster, a Juno-nominated former member of Moxy Fruvous and Great Big Sea, is Professor of Music at Seneca College and the founder of Toronto Songwriting School, The Urban Orchestra, and Choir Nation. He wrote and directed 2015’s The Cocksure Lads Movie and is writing the musical Chelsea Sunrise through Sheridan College.

On Canada Day, we are thankful to be a part of the community who have created so many opportunities for to grow. This is a weird time in theatre, but we still have so many reasons to be grateful. Have a safe & happy holiday! 🇨🇦

Theatres may currently be dark, but there's work happening on computers, phone calls, and Zoom meetings to keep musical theatre shows like Chelsea Sunrise growing until we're ready to return to our seats and raise the curtain.

It's a big day in the history of . In 2018, we had our first staged reading of the full show. Who'd have thought that day that just 2 years later we would be living through a pandemic with theatres shuttered worldwide.

The message of Chelsea Sunrise is one of hope, creativity, and making authentic connections - something we need now more than ever.
