Comes see the new corridor exhibitions now up at QEPCCC!

This week, we're highlighting Yue Gao 🔵◽️⚡️

Yue Gao's current exhibition 'Constructing Lights' is a feat of geometric harmony.

Before becoming an artist, Yue worked in spatial and design-related fields. This experience accustomed her to thinking and creating within rational frameworks and structural logic. Unlike intuitive forms of painting, Yue's practice resembles a structured research process: beginning with experiments of light and form in virtual space, followed by the selection and reconstruction of images, and culminating in the scraper-based technique of achieving extreme smoothness on the surface. This design-oriented way of thinking has been transformed into a painterly language, allowing her work to sustain a tension between freedom and order.

See Yue Gao's work this Spring-Summer season! Her work can be found just by the main lobby.

You can follow Yue and her work on Instagram
