Spent a week at the cottage, soaking up the gorgeous countryside and that chill Ottawa Valley Vibe. I can’t get enough of the pretty farm houses and lush green countryside. Thank you for the farm fresh eggs — they were both delicious and inspiring!

Glam clam. I am so inspired by our summers on the I can’t resist bringing home some reminders. Not all shells are sea shells, I love walking on the beach after dinner and finding clam shells — except when they cut my feet.

My duvet is colourful, warm and the perfect antidote to my very neutral bedroom. I’m so inspired by the free-flowing blobs of colour, I tried to recreate them on canvas. And it wasn’t easy! I fought with these unstructured blobs for days, trying to make them appear more organic, less stuffy.
Sometimes veering away from what’s expected, what’s safe, is hard. What would happen if you coloured outside the lines today? If you embraced the imperfect rather than wasting time searching for the perfect?
I’m trying to get over my own perfectionism. That’s why I’m posting this photo of my bedside table and a crooked painting. I’m very uncomfortable but whatever, you get the idea!

I’m not in my kitchen. Nope, I’m in the Bahamas; bobbing up and down in the waves and savouring the sunshine on my face. I’m diving below the water’s surface where a secret world is waiting to be explored.

Watched .reinke play his last game as an Oakville Hawk today. It’s been an awesome experience for all of us, I’m so glad he had the chance to meet this great group of kids.
