In honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th, our students made dream catchers and drawings inspired by the Haida people in Canada.

Dream Catchers are an important part of Indigenous Culture and Identity, originating with the Ojibwes.

Haida art focuses on simplicity, line, unity and balance. The two-dimensional paintings are usually black and red or sometimes include blue and green.

Our spring session has wrapped up and we are working hard on our new summer and autumn programs. At Petit Picasso, we continuously try to create and experiment with new materials, ideas, and techniques to improve student experiences. We will continue to provide small class sizes for different age groups and high quality, non-toxic materials that are safe and easy to use. Wishing you all a summer filled with imaginative endeavours!

Notre session de printemps s'est terminée et nous travaillons sur nos nouveaux programmes d'été et d'automne. Chez Petit Picasso, nous cherchons constamment à créer et expérimenter avec de nouveaux matériaux, idées et techniques pour améliorer l'expérience de nos étudiants. Nous continuerons à offrir de petites classes pour les enfants de 5 à 13 ans. De plus, nous utiliserons toujours des matériaux de haute qualité, non toxiques et faciles à utiliser.
