I am very proud to announce that our "new" old house we bought has been designated :
"Heritage Caledon, with respect of the Property as being of cultural heritage value or interest".
This home was a place where Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Elizabeth Taylor, Vivian Leigh among others came to vacation with the Huston family.
Cynthia and I are pleased and excited for the opportunity to restore the house to its full glory, and hopefully have fun doing it.🤩

My friend Terry saw this sign on a street in downtown Toronto.
So I have to get my thoughts around how famous the house I bought actually is.
(I bought the summer getaway home of Arthur and Walter Huston)
Then I read another story last night of this area and found out about another very famous person who was from the immediate area (actually lived next door to my new home in the summer time) and had been inspired by the area.
His name? Hollywood legend, James Cameron. The local cemetery has gravestones with names on the headstones that were names of characters in Titanic.
A lot about Avatar too.
I thank God for blessing me with this new adventure and into the subject of history that I love so much

Galerie für Aktuelle Kunst in Achterwehr

Der Unbekannte in der Kunst:
Der deutsche Maler
OTTO SCHAUER in Paris
Ausstellung zum 100. Geburtstag des Künstlers
29. Oktober - 17. Dezember 202
