2025: A YEAR TO REMEMBER

As 2025 winds down and the intrepid crew at Thomas FX prepares for our annual Holiday shutdown, we find ourselves reflecting on the eventful year behind us and looking forward with optimism. This season also reminds us of the strong relationships we’ve built – connections that have helped us grow, adapt, and thrive in an ever‑changing industry.

Yes, 2025 really happened. It wasn’t just a collective fever dream. Across the global film community, we have all shared similar stories of change, challenge, and resilience, and it’s safe to say most of us are more than ready to turn the page.

Thank you for your continued support and for standing with us through it all. Early signs point to a strong production season ahead, and we are holding a positive vision for a busy, creative, and prosperous 2026 for everyone.

In the spirit of the season, we are including a funky holiday gift with every purchase. Many of you have already received your Christmas “smiles,” and we hope they continue to spread joy far and wide as you find imaginative ways to have fun with them.

A quick reminder: Thomas FX will close for the Holidays on December 17th. Please place your pre‑Holiday orders as soon as possible while our full crew is still on deck. During the break, we’ll maintain a small skeleton crew for emergency service on a by‑appointment basis. We will reopen on January 7th, 2026.

🚨 What’s Happening at Thomas FX? 🚨

If you’ve driven by lately, you might’ve noticed a “For Sale or Lease” sign on our building. Don’t worry — this isn’t the end of Thomas FX. In fact, it’s a strategic move as we evolve with the changing film industry.

We’re financially strong, future-focused, and still very much in the game. After 38 years in our current space, we’re exploring options that better suit today’s production landscape, whether that means consolidating or selling and relocating to a more efficient location in Burnaby or Coquitlam.

🎬 The industry is shifting — tighter budgets, leaner crews, and more digital effects — and we’re adapting right alongside it. That includes selling off equipment we no longer use (something we’ve done for 25 years!) so we can stay nimble and ready to serve productions worldwide.

We’re here, we’re evolving, and we’re grateful for your continued support. Got questions? We’re happy to chat.
