Higher Ground Women's Choir

Higher Ground Women's Choir Higher Ground Women's Ensemble is a North Shore-based choir, directed by Janet Warren and accompanied by Julien Pattison.

We perform a variety of music from the past eight centuries -- including jazz, folk, pop, Latin, spiritual, and much more. Higher Ground women are a dynamic group of singers, ranging in age from twenty-three to...much older! We are post-secondary students, health care workers, artists, mothers, grandmothers -- who all share a love of singing. We rehearse weekly for 10-12 weeks with regular performances in December and May to showcase our music.
