Vancouver’s only Lebanese ice cream. Crêpes, waffles, knefeh, fruit-forward desserts that taste like a trip you didn’t book. If you’ve been to the Homer Street spot, you already know. If you haven’t, this is your shot.

The vendor list keeps getting better from here. Follow to be in the know! Show up to taste 😍🍦🥞

You know that feeling when you walk past a booth and something stops you cold. A fabric pattern your grandmother had in her house. A spice you haven’t smelled since you left. A piece of jewelry that looks exactly like the ones your mother wore.

That is what our vendors do.

Last year a jeweler showed up to The Shipyards in a full traditional silver Miao headdress and sold out of handcrafted pieces before the afternoon hit. Wet Coast Naturals from Deep Cove packed their table with handcrafted soaps and left with nothing. Artisan makers brought their culture to a six-foot table and thousands of people came to find themselves in it.

September 19 we are building that again. If your brand, your craft, or your culture belongs on this floor, applications are open now.

Maya Angelou beautifully captured the essence of human connection when she said, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” This timeless wisdom reminds us that our true impact lies not in our words or deeds, but in the emotional resonance we create.

Emotional memories are powerful and enduring, often shaping our relationships and interactions more profoundly than we realize. As we navigate through our daily lives, let’s prioritize kindness, empathy, and genuine connection. Make it your goal to leave a positive, lasting emotional imprint on those around you. The way we make others feel is the true legacy we leave behind. 🌺

Daring to dream, bold enough to follow. ✨🚀 is inspired by the powerful quote, “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” It beautifully captures the spirit of holding onto big dreams and the crucial bravery needed to actively chase them.

When we talk about “Daring to dream,” we’re referring to that first, vital step where you allow yourself to imagine the seemingly impossible, highlighting the significance of ambition and vision in achieving personal growth and success.

”Bold enough to follow” brings attention to the essential action needed—embracing the courage to make those dreams a reality. This phrase acknowledges that dreaming is merely the start, and it’s the courage to face obstacles and grab opportunities that turns dreams into tangible achievements!

The hashtags and act as beacons of inspiration and encouragement. urges you not to confine your dreams or aspirations, while stresses the importance of valiance on your journey towards making dreams come alive, suggesting that although the path may be challenging, it is undoubtedly rewarding 🌟

Embracing the spirit of Nowruz, the Iranian New Year, as a celebration of renewal, forgiveness, and hope. 🌸 This secular festival, dating back over 3,000 years, marks the spring equinox, symbolizing new beginnings for both people and the Earth. Rooted in Zoroastrian traditions, it features the joyous Shab-e-Charshanbeh Souri where individuals leap over fires to cleanse themselves of the past year’s hardships and to welcome strength and health. Preparations include setting the haft-seen table with items that each hold deep symbolic meanings, from health and beauty to patience and forgiveness.

The haft-seen table is adorned with seven items, each beginning with the Persian letter ‘S’ (س), and each holding a unique significance:

1. Seeb (apple) represents beauty, reminding us of the aesthetic and spiritual beauty that enriches our lives.
2. Seer (garlic) symbolizes health and medicine, a nod to the importance of wellbeing and the healing powers of nature.
3. Somagh (sumac) signifies the color of sunrise, heralding the dawn of a new day and the promise of new beginnings.
4. Sabzeh (green grass) stands for rebirth and the renewal of nature, echoing the themes of growth and rejuvenation central to Nowruz.
5. Serkeh (vinegar) embodies patience and the ability to age gracefully, imparting wisdom on the passage of time and the maturity it brings.
6. Senjed (olive) signals love, fostering the hope that love will flourish in the coming year.
7. Samanu (pastry paste) reflects the power and strength of forgiveness, encouraging us to move forward with a clear heart and mind.

Alongside these items, a mirror for reflection, flowers to symbolize Earth’s healing, eggs representing life, and a live fish reflecting our connection to the animal world are also placed, often accompanied by a religious or poetic book for spiritual or intellectual reflection.

May this Nowruz bring you and your loved ones beauty, health, new beginnings, growth, patience, love, and the strength of forgiveness 🌸
