Parenting looks different for everyone. Different family dynamics can impact both the child and family. Harmful stereotypes increase parental stress in both single and solo parenting situations often resulting in parents not taking care of their own mental and physical health needs.

Reminder: Valentine’s Day has been shaped by capitalism. As overconsumption grows, corporations use the holiday to pressure people into proving love through spending. Love has no dollar value and exists in many forms — romantic or not.

Beat the winter blues and join us for a fun, warm, and cozy Drag Storytime on Saturday January 17th from 1-2PM in the library auditorium.
Performers from Switched On Productions will join us to read inclusive and winter stories chosen from the library’s collection.
All ages are welcome to this free drop-in event!

Human trafficking is happening here, often without movement or visible force. Understanding how exploitation works is a necessary first step toward prevention. Learn the signs.
