Message for price

I have so many fond memories of Chippewa Creek. Growing up, my grandparents owned property on Golf Club Road, and my siblings, cousins and I spent countless summer days playing in the creek. ❤️

Chippewa Creek is an important part of North Bay’s natural, cultural and community heritage. It’s a place worth protecting and preserving for generations to come. 🌿

I had an absolutely incredible time this weekend down at the Bay Block Party. It was so great to be painting in front of the Capitol Centre and showcasing my skills, selling some art and chatting with people about the festival and events that are up coming with the WKP Kennedy Gallery. I also made sure to enjoy the live entertainment at the the Block Public House for the bay block pre party and after party with the The Jesse Thomas Band / Dig Newton reunion! The vibes were great and the people were amazing. Cannot wait for next year!

Be sure to stop in and take a look at my original artwork, and while you’re there, explore everything the Bay Block Party has to offer.

It’s sure to be an amazing day, and I’d love to see you there! ✨

2024
Sharing another post of my art around the city. This banner hangs on the over pass along with other talented artists.
This one is a section of a whole painting I did a few years prior. It’s one of my favourite paintings I did. 😊

Finally showing my art that’s been on display in the city since 2022. Maybe you’ve seen this piece? It’s pretty!

Title: Brussels Sprouts
12x12 acrylic on canvas
$125

Here is my piece that I submitted for the all you can eat square foot show opening next week!

STORY OF MY PAINTING
Like most kids, I hated vegetables growing up, but brussels sprouts were the one thing I absolutely refused to eat. One night my mom served them with dinner and wouldn’t let me leave the table until my plate was empty. After sitting there for a long time, I finally told her I had eaten them. She checked everywhere and found no trace, so she let me go play.

A few days later, she called me downstairs and showed me the washing machine full of brussels sprout leaves. I had stuffed them into my pockets to avoid eating them and forgot they were there.

Ironically, years later as an adult, I tried roasted brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and now they’re one of my favourite vegetables.

Showing part of my painting I’m submitting for the upcoming exhibit called
“All You Can Eat”
I’m excited to partake in this event and cannot wait to see all the designs people have come up with for this unique event!

ALL YOU CAN EAT is a playful, food-inspired square-foot exhibition celebrating creativity in
bite-sized form. This community exhibition explores the art of food as a universal connector —
nourishing both body and spirit.
Artists are invited to interpret their chosen menu category in any medium or style — from literal
culinary illustration to imaginative or abstract explorations of taste, memory, culture, and
indulgence. From cherished family recipes to midnight snacks and comfort foods, each artwork
becomes a portrait of personal tradition and identity.
To heighten the immersive atmosphere, the gallery will be divided into playful “courses,”
creating the feeling of walking through a dining experience from start to finish — where each
artwork becomes a dish and the exhibition transforms into a feast for the eyes.
