Allen Sapp Gallery - The Gonor Collection

Allen Sapp Gallery - The Gonor Collection This is the official page for the Allen Sapp Gallery. Since 1989 The Allen Sapp Gallery has been the crown jewel of North Battleford.

Located in the city’s old Carnegie Library built in 1916, the award-winning gallery attracts individuals from all over the world to North Battleford. The heart of the gallery is the artwork of the renowned Cree artist Allen Sapp. Sapp’s paintings masterfully depict First Nations culture, the simple elegance of rural life, and the beauty of Saskatchewan. A donation of Sapp’s works by Dr. Allan Gonor and his wife Ruth Gonor comprises the foundation of the art collection at the gallery.
