“I felt that.”

In dance, there is a difference between seeing a performance and truly feeling one.
Of course, we admire beautiful lines, strong technique, breathtaking choreography, and the countless hours of hard work that go into creating a piece. But the performances that stay with us long after the curtain closes are the ones that make us feel something.
A great routine doesn’t just entertain an audience—it connects with them. It can evoke joy, heartbreak, hope, nostalgia, strength, or vulnerability. It can bring a room full of people together in a shared moment of emotion without a single word being spoken.

That is a gift.

As dancers, the ability to move beyond steps and technique and tell a story that reaches the hearts of others is something truly special. When an audience becomes completely captivated—when you can hear a pin drop because every eye is fixed on the stage—you know something magical is happening.

As teachers and choreographers, those moments make us incredibly proud. We pour our hearts into creating pieces and guiding our dancers, but watching them bring a story to life and create a genuine emotional response in an audience is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

When a performance can bring a room to utter silence, draw people to the edge of their seats, or leave them wiping away tears, it becomes more than a dance.
It becomes an experience.

And that is the power of art. ❤️

🚨Teacher Alert!!!!!

We are thrilled to announce we have Rhett filling in for Miss Presli’s Maternity leave next season for a few months!! And bonus ! He will also be joining us at our summer camp 🤗 we can not be more excited to have him join our team ( even if it’s for a little bit ) ❤️

Make sure to give him a warm welcome 🫶

Rhett Gust is a passionate dancer, choreographer, and instructor from Saskatchewan.

He has successfully completed his RAD Advanced 2 ballet exam, CDTA Advanced tap exam, and ADAPT Inter 3 jazz exam. Additionally, Rhett is certified in ADAPT tap and jazz instruction, as well as Acrobatic Arts Module 1.

Rhett pursued professional training at The CLI Conservatory in Massachusetts, USA, under Teddy Forance. This intensive program allowed him to train daily with top choreographers in the industry, while mentored by contemporary choreographer Lucy Vallely. He gained valuable experience in film and stage performances, collaborating with choreographers such as Chris Scott, JA Collective, Monika Smith, Martha Nichols, Greg Chapkis, Andrew Mullet, and many others during his time at CLI.

Beginning in September 2025, he was hired by Royal Caribbean International Cruises aboard Quantum of the Seas as a dancer in the production cast.

Rhett loves both dancing professionally and setting choreography and teaching at studios throughout Saskatchewan as well as British Columbia.

Rhett is excited for what’s to come and to be dancing with his community back in Saskatchewan.
