𝙰𝚛𝚝𝚒𝚜𝚝 𝙵𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚎: 𝙲𝚛𝚢𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚢𝚗𝚗 𝚃𝚊𝚛𝚛

Crystalynn lives with her husband and two dogs on the southern edge of the Boreal forest in the traditional territory of the Stoney Nakoda and Cree First Nations. Using paints that she makes by hand, with the rocks and soil that she collects from her mountain home, her paintings reflect her love of the place she calls home.

Every rock, tree, mountain, lake and stream and the ecosystem surrounding them is important and she loves getting to know these places. Her studio smells like earth after a rain and is filled with curiosities: deer sheds, moths, dried mushrooms, eggs, feathers and, of course, rocks.

Throughout the month of July, a selection of Crystalynn's art will be on display at the Nordegg Discovery Centre. Be sure to stop by and experience her work!
