Have you ever looked at a charming storefront or flower-draped doorway and thought, "I wish I could pain that"?

The upcoming "Painted Doorways" Watercolour Workshop with artist Maria Parra is the perfect opportunity to do so, this Saturday, September 19, from 10 am - 12 pm at the Niagara Falls History Museum.

What the workshop offers:
✅ Basic watercolour techniques: washes, layering and colour blending
✅ How to simplify architectural details without loosing charm
✅ Adding personality through colour choices, plants, and small imaginative touches
✅ Letting go of "getting it exactly right" and painting with confidence instead

No experience needed! All materials are provided and all skill levels are welcome.

🚨 Deck the Halls Holiday Market: Vendor Application Scam

We have been made aware of fraudulent emails circulating that appear to be from Niagara Falls Exchange staff and invite recipients to become vendors at our Deck the Halls Holiday Market and are asking for payment. While the event details may appear legitimate, these emails are not from our organization.

Please note:
✅ Vendor applications are accepted only through our official website at nfexchange.ca/about/deck-the-halls

✅ Applicants will then be directed to our official Alchemer application form

✅ There is no fee required to apply to become a vendor at this time. Successful vendors will be notified on October 2, 2026, following the adjudication process.

✅ If you are selected to be a vendor, payments are made only through the Niagara Falls History Museum, either in person or over the phone.

❌ We will never request or accept EFTs, e-transfers, or other electronic fund transfers to secure a vendor space.

If you receive a suspicious email regarding the Deck the Halls Holiday Market, please do not respond, click any links, or send payment. When in doubt, contact us directly in person, or by calling the Museum front desk at (905) 358-5082.
