Meet Miguel! 🇨🇦 Miguel Ramirez found his passion for dance at a young age, and has been able to teach and inspire young dancers today. He is a choreographer and drummer who has free styling abilities that have been perfected throughout his career. Miguel is trained in all forms of dance. He successfully runs his own workshops accompanied by other well known choreographers, including some from So You Think You Can Dance. Miguel continues to develop his technique and refining his talents by training all over Canada and USA
Miguel has won numerous awards including; top choreographer, highest overall groups, top scoring hip hop routines and genius concepts. He is the choreographer of High Diamond’s music video “face the music”, choreographer’s assistant for the 2011 Canadian national hip hop team, Co-founder of the hip hop crew ARTillery and also a performer with Airtight Entertainment. He teaches at numerous studios and is well known for his extremely clean routines. He mentors his students with a fundamental message: with hard work and dedication, anyone can achieve greatness.
Miguel has had the opportunity to take his talents worldwide including Trinidad and Tobago instructing dance and Afro Caribbean drumming. He always takes time to give back to the community by volunteering at orphanages sharing his many joys and talents with others. He always encourages his students to get involved in different community projects as it builds the passion they have for dance. Miguel, truly believes that, “Great dancers can also be great people”

Meet Ally! 🇨🇦 Providing inspiration to others is natural for Ally and she continues by teaching. Ally has now been teaching/ choreographing all styles of dance for 10 years. Ally as a professional, is a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Dance and Cheer team, as well as the Toronto Rock Dancers. Ally as a professional has performed for Chase McDaniel, Princess Superstar, Fast Break and performed at the halftime show of the 111 Grey Cup with the Jonas Brothers. Ally performed in a pantomime production of Wizard of Oz. She also recently had the opportunity to perform for Diljit Dosanji at the Rogers Centre for 50,000+ fans.
You may have seen her or her choreography at Canadas Wonderland, company Production Hautvol, or at a Cirque Du Soleil show. Ally has appeared in many music videos, commercials and movies as well as modelled on breakfast television and Global TVs The Morning Show. She has Travelled to Poland representing Canada to dancing across Canada with the Hamilton Tiger Cats at multiple Grey Cups.
Ally continues with her dance education for her own passion and frequently joins various entertainment companies for on stage performances. Ally is sought after to teach at conventions and intensives as well as producing competitive choreography.
Her passion for teaching continues to grow and what drives her the most is being a positive influence in a child’s life, she takes pride in every dancers journey ensuring every dancer feels seen, supported and motivated.

Judge 3! 🇨🇦 Andrew started dancing at the age of five in Brampton ON and it has been his passion ever since. His professional career started as an apprentice in the Rutherford Movement Exchange’s..A few television and film opportunities Andrew has had the opportunity to dance on would be Revolution TVA, Netflix Feel The Beat, Family Channels The Next Step and Backstage as well as The Pan American Games closing ceremony. Live performances Andrew has danced in are Stephanie Rutherford’s production of “Ascension,” Vlad Novitski’s production of “Checkmate,” The Beaches Jazz Festival and the I Am Blake McGrath Tour dancing Tressandra Chaves’s choreography to Missing You.

Andrew has transitioned his main focus onto the choreography and teaching side of the industry. Some choreography opportunities accomplished to date would be multiple pieces on Revolution TVA, WildRivers music video of “Long Time,” 2023 CAFTCAD Awards, an opening number for the I Am Blake McGrath Tour in Toronto, Canadian Mental Health Association Conference, Canadian movie screenings/premiers of “Paper Year” (2018) and “Sometimes Always Never.” (2019).

Andrew has taught in many different settings such as competitive studios, drop in Studios, Dance Conventions, with non profit organizations, elementary and arts high-schools as well as special needs high school programs. Andrew continues to share his ideas and knowledge all over Canada adjudicating for various dance competitions. Currently he also is the director of Concepts Dance Studio in Pickering, Ontario along side his wife Cassie Comiskey. Passion, determination and hard work are what have pushed him this far in his career and sharing with young aspiring dancers is what he believes his purpose is. Judge number 2! 🇨🇦 Kim O’Neill is an established dancer, teacher, choreographer, performer and adjudicator. Graduate from the University of Western Ontario. She is the proud owner of the O’Neill Academy of Dance, in her home town of London, Ontario.
Kim began her professional career as a featured dancer for the Helix Dance Project. Here are some of kims credits: the Bell Celebrity Gala, Crystal Ball Charity Event, C.I.M Awards, Contessa Awards, Steve Nash Charity Event, World Pride, Hold Em’ for Life Gala, Gilda Awards, Mary Kay Event Gala , Chandelier Ball” and Goldwell Fashion (Kevan Allen). Kim appeared on “Over the Rainbow (Sean Cheeseman),” “Warehouse 13’s” finale episode of “42nd Street,” The Strain, Beauty and The Beast, Bomb Girls (CTV), and “Canada’s Smartest Person.” Mmotion pictures “Save the Last Dance 2: Steppin Up,” and “Camp Rock.” TV series “Schitt’s Creek”, and Assistant to the choreographer (Jeff Dimitriou). Kim also assisted Jeff with the off- ice training and choreography for Canadian Ice Dance Champions, Paul Poirier and Piper Giles.
Kim’s theatre credits include: Andrew Lloyd Weber’s “Song and Dance”, Drayton Entertainment’s, Aladdin, Cinderella , Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Dance Legends , Big Band Legends, Rock n’ Roll Legends , Dance Legends at The Grand Theatre., Return to Grace at the Ed Mirvish Theatre, the Princess of Wales theatre, and at the Fallsview Casino. The Canadian National Tour in Grace and Thailand . A highlight for Kim was dancing as a soloist for Canadian Country Music Star / Singer, Chad Brownlee, at the Canadian Country Music Awards (Choreographer / Soloist dancer).

Meet your first judge! Brendan De Santis 🇨🇦 Brendan De Santis is an award-winning choreographer, educator, adjudicator, and professional dancer from London, Ontario. A versatile artist trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, tap, acro, and musical theatre, Brendan has been performing nationally and internationally for over a decade. His professional credits include Little Pear Garden, Newton Moraes Dance Theatre, The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, and various commercial projects.
As a choreographer, Brendan has earned numerous overall and special awards for his innovative and authentic work, with his dancers consistently achieving top honours in solo, duet, and group categories. He served as Competitive Director of O’Neil Academy of Dance for ten years, helping to develop and mentor award-winning dancers and competitive programs. Brendan has also been a respected dance adjudicator across Canada for more than a decade, recognized for his insightful feedback, commitment to dancer development, and passion for fostering artistic excellence. Throughout his career, he has created works for stage productions, gala events, and educational institutions across Ontario.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario and is an Ontario Certified Teacher. He currently teaches performing arts with the York Region District School Board and serves as Director of the York Region District School Board Step Out Dance Competition. Passionate about movement education, Brendan continues to inspire dancers through choreography, mentorship, adjudication, and performance throughout Ontario.

Reintroducing our host 🇨🇦 Dancing and flipping since the moment she could walk, it is undeniable that Mohogany’s love for the arts began at a very young age. Her passion and dedication has led her to train and become certified in many different styles and disciplines.
After growing up as a competitive dancer from Ballet to hip hop and gymnast, Mohogany is happy to say she has been able to continue on her career in the professional industry. This has led her to a number of opportunities in Canada, the United States, and Internationally, in which she’s had the pleasure of working with many talented dancers, choreographers and artists in the industry.
Some of her credits include; PanAm/ ParaPanAm games opening and closing ceremonies, 2018 MMVA’s alongside Anne-Marie, resorts and amusement parks in Canada and overseas, music videos, Live Halftime performances and just recently finished a Canadian tour with Snoop Dogg. You may have seen Mohogany cheering on The Toronto Raptors as one of your 2025 Captains and dancer for the North Side Crew and choreographer of the Raptors official stunt team “6ixTrix”.
Mohogany is beyond grateful and excited to be able to share her passion and love for not only dance, but for life with the next generation of dancers and those around her.
As the emcee and choreographer of Title Soloists opening number for the Gala, we at CDF couldn’t be more proud to have her on our Team.
