Meet Lilian Lloyd—

With over 11 years of silversmithing experience, Lilian creates intricate wearable art inspired by natural materials and thoughtful craftsmanship. Her favourite technique is wax casting, using a special Japanese wax to sculpt detailed one-of-a-kind pieces.

Working with semi-precious stones such as amethyst, citrine, herkimer diamonds, petrified wood, and pearls, Lilian often cuts and shapes rough minerals herself to reveal their natural beauty. She also incorporates reclaimed materials, including recycled copper from historic Kingston homes, leather cutoffs, and repurposed aluminum.

Creating distinctive jewellery for both men and women, her work blends artistry, sustainability, and timeless design.

Meet Lillie Strain—

Lillie grew up on a dairy farm along the south shore of Hay Bay and has always felt deeply connected to nature and the outdoors. Whether gardening, tending her greenhouse, or kayaking the lake, creativity and natural beauty are a constant part of her life.

After taking her first basket weaving class in 2017, she was instantly hooked. Her handmade baskets are primarily woven from reeds and often feature imaginative touches like driftwood handles, rolling pins, or clothespin feet.

No two baskets are ever alike, making each one a truly unique creation full of charm and personality.

Meet Karen Reece —

A studio artist with a background in art, design, glass, and metalwork, Karen creates one-of-a-kind jewellery that blends colour, texture, and craftsmanship. Her work reflects years of study and experience, along with a deep inspiration drawn from textiles, interiors, and fashion.

Each larger bead is individually handmade using lampwork techniques, where molten glass is shaped over a torch flame and kiln-annealed for durability. Karen also handcrafts many of her silver and copper findings, incorporating etched metals, hollow beads, and unexpected details like origami cranes, seed beads, and embroidery floss into her designs.

Continually exploring new techniques, she now creates her own glass cane and murrine, while also crafting striking borosilicate glass chains.

Meet John Beale of Driftwood Creations—

With 41 years of carving experience, John is a world-class artist known for his detailed songbirds, decoys, and stunning driftwood creations. Dividing his time between traditional carving and transforming driftwood into unique works of art, his craftsmanship and creativity are evident in every piece.

John has earned numerous awards throughout his career, including a 3rd place finish at the Ward’s World Carving Championships in Ocean City, Maryland.

Meet Renata Jedynecki—

Based in Tamworth, Ontario, Renata discovered her passion for stained glass mosaic art six years ago and has been captivated by it ever since. Working in the glass-on-glass (GOG) technique, she hand-cuts and arranges colourful pieces of stained glass to create vibrant, freehand designs inspired by nature, light, and emotion.

Influenced by artists such as Van Gogh, Monet, and the Group of Seven, Renata creates mosaics that celebrate colour, texture, and the beauty of the natural world.
