We currently have three age groups: Youngest age from 4 - 9 years, Middle from 10 - 14 years, Oldest from 14+ years old. Our goal is to foster a love of Serbian culture and heritage for generations to come. Not only do the children learn to dance traditional dances, but they are exposed to a wonderfully supportive community of peers. Many of our dancers return to the group as proud parents,
bringing their own children to learn traditional dances and form lifelong friendships and bonds with Serbian community. Our choreographies are complex, dynamic with lots of movements and swift footwork. Typically, we manage to add two to three new choreographies during the school year (September - Jun). Through authentic dance and costumes our choreographies are telling stories about old Serbian inhabitants, their culture, life, occupations and traditions. Our dance performances - choreographies are between 8 – 10 minutes in durations. After being in the existence for over 40 years we are proud to announce that our wardrobe is full of colorful costumes including all regions from Serbia.
